GoRide4U
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GoRide4U handles information from its website, ride requests, and booking coordination. Read it alongside our Terms & Conditions. It describes the current request process and, where stated, information that may be needed if you later arrange a booking or payment.
1. Information you provide
Ride requests collect first and last name, phone number, optional email, pickup and destination information, pickup date, optional time, passenger count, and any special instructions you choose to submit. We may also record communications, requested changes, provider references, quoted or agreed amounts, and the progress of a request or booking.
A destination or note can reveal sensitive information. Share only what is needed to coordinate the trip. Please do not put card numbers, passwords, diagnoses, or detailed medical records in the request form. If you provide another passenger's information, ensure you have permission.
2. Payment-related information
The current request form does not collect card details or process payment. If payment is arranged later, a payment processor may collect payment and billing information. GoRide4U may receive transaction references, payment status, amounts, limited payment-method details, and dispute or refund information needed to administer the booking. The information collected depends on the payment method actually offered; this policy does not imply that a particular processor is currently integrated.
3. Device, technical, and verification information
Our hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser or device information, request times, server logs, and error information to deliver and protect the website. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify requests and reduce automated abuse; it may process technical signals as described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
The request service uses derived identifiers and request comparisons to limit abuse and recognize duplicate submissions. Cookies or similar storage may support security, employee authentication, and site preferences. Their use depends on the feature you access; accepting this policy is not blanket consent to optional advertising tracking.
4. How information is used
We use information to review requests, contact you, check availability, coordinate pickup and destination details, provide updates, administer agreed bookings and payments, resolve complaints, prevent abuse, and maintain operational and audit records. A request may be held for employee review rather than immediately forwarded for coordination. We may also use necessary records to meet legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.
5. When information is shared
Authorized employees receive information needed to handle your request. Relevant request details may be sent through internal notification and communication services so employees can respond. When arranging a ride, we may share necessary contact, pickup, destination, timing, passenger, and assistance details with the transportation provider. This does not promise an existing relationship with any specific provider.
We also use hosting, database, authentication, security, and communication vendors. Payment processors may receive necessary information if you make a payment. These services process information needed for their functions, and independent providers or processors may handle information under their own policies. We may disclose information when required by law, to address safety or fraud, to protect legal rights, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.
6. Retention and security
We retain customer, trip, contact, and audit records for coordination, support, accounting, dispute handling, security, and legal obligations. The current system does not automatically delete all records when a trip or review ends. Finalized intake reviews clear their stored request payload while retaining review metadata; related customer or ride records, if created, remain separate.
Access controls limit employee access according to their responsibilities. No website, storage system, or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Retention periods and deletion requests are assessed against the purposes above and applicable requirements.
7. Your choices and requests
You may leave optional form fields blank and contact us to correct request information. Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
Operational messages about a ride are separate from marketing preferences. Your acceptance of this policy does not authorize unrelated marketing calls or messages. Browser controls may limit cookies or storage, although some features may then be unavailable.
8. Children, service locations, and external links
The website is intended for adults arranging transportation. We do not knowingly collect online requests directly from children under 13. An adult arranging travel for a minor should provide only necessary details and confirm suitable supervision and provider requirements.
Service vendors may process information in the United States or other locations. Applicable privacy protections may differ by location. External websites and independent transportation providers have their own privacy practices.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy as services and information practices change and will revise the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek consent before materially changing how previously collected information is used.
